Staff year book 2023

2024 Yearbook

In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire. Our 2024 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.

Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.

The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

Big shout out and a huge Thank you to the School Applications Team in Digital Services. You consistently put our Customers first, ensuring they get the best possible service all year through. You all give 100% each and every day, and it's a privilege to work alongside you all. Thank you for being there for our School's, and making sure their staff, who are working flat-out every day too, have the support and help they need, when they need it. Each of you is an inspiration. Thank you just doesn't seem big enough. I am extremely proud to be part of such an amazing team of people.

A celebration and recognition of the work of the adult disability services who make a difference to many individuals and families across Lancashire every day. whether that's developing someone's independence, supporting to obtain paid employment or through daytime activities, living well at home or through a short break, the quality of support is a credit to the organisation and to our customers. Many thanks to our teams in shared lives, enablement, short breaks, day services, and our employment team who also obtained their national quality accreditation this year & supported living and the new apartment schemes. Many other highlights too, amazing work and lots more to celebrate, so a shout out and thanks to all.

I wanted to thank the IRMS Manage team for being so wonderful and lovely to us new members of staff. Lucy, Hannah, Mat and Adrian always have time to teach us and help us gain confidence! It has been a pleasure working with them this year, and I am very thankful for the team members who have trained me, as well as the new starters I joined with, who have made it a nice environment to work in!

A big shout out and a massive thank you to everyone in the short term service and in the prisons team. Everyone does such a brilliant job, everyday, despite constant pressures. Day after day, you all do great things to support people wherever possible to live their life how and where they want to. We have many brilliant achievements again this year in our service, and that's thanks to everyone who works in it, as well as some great colleagues in other services who support us. Onwards and upwards into 2025!
