Staff year book 2023

2024 Yearbook

In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire. Our 2024 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.

Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.

The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

Your stories

Thank you to all the team members of the Public Health & Wellbeing Wider Determinants Team for the incredibly detailed and challenging work that you do, often in very short and pressurised timescales. You are never phased with what comes your way and you always endeavour to find the, sometimes hidden, pathway through in order to ensure that fairness, equality, and ultimately, equity prevails. In all of the busy work, we don't often get to acknowledge and recognise what we have achieved together so thank you for all that you do and have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2025 :)

I wanted to share my appreciation to all of the team members that make up the amazing Welfare Rights Service, including the Pensioner Benefits Uptake Campaign team members. You are quite a remarkable bunch working wonders for the residents of Lancashire and bringing in millions-of-pounds-worth of sustainable income to our local economy. That really touches the lives of our residents and enables them to have a better quality of life. Thank you for all that you do day in day out :)

A big thank you to my friends and colleagues at the Judges' Lodgings museum in Lancaster. We've got a great team here and work together all year to make sure our events go smoothly and our collections are well looked after. It's really fun to work with you all and I look forward to more good times in 2025.

This has been my first year in the Leaving Care service as Housing Officer. I have worked with so many hard working individuals, and we have collaborated with a lot of successful outcomes. Shout out to Leaving Care Division 1. One last thing, I've just completed my course on Social Pedagogy, and I highly recommend it to all in Social Care. It is a great tool to have, and it's free on Course Era! I wish everybody a very Merry Christmas 🎄

I wanted to share my appreciation and thanks to my team SIAS/WES central. I have only been in this for little over a year, and we have seen so many changes and had to cope with these alongside other unforeseeable demands and pressures, we always try to be there for one another , so lets hope 2025 is a great year for us all.
