Staff year book 2023

2024 Yearbook

In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire. Our 2024 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.

Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.

The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

A big thank you to the Employment Support Team in Virtual School for all your hard work this year supporting our care experienced young people. In a year where we had team members retire and welcomed new staff caused some juggling of caseloads but everyone pulled together. Here's to 2025 and continuing our support and success stories for our young people!

2024 has been quite the year for me! A mixed bag of joy and sorrow and many things to be thankful for and proud of too. I have had challenges that I didn't expect to face and then I witnessed the love of my family and friends around me when times were difficult. I am thankful for my Friends and my Family. I have had life changing events this year, I have gone from being a Mother and Grandmother to a lovely boy, to seeing this grow to being the Grandmother to another lovely boy and girl with another about to join us in 2025. I have seen new colleagues join our team and also seen them leave, it is an always changing landscape. But all in all, I feel blessed to have the team I work with and the friends I have made, hopefully for life. Jackie
