2024 Yearbook
In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire. Our 2024 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.
Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.
The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

To all my colleagues in People Services who showed me kindness and understanding when my lovely mum passed away in October 2024 aged 91. Not just my immediate colleagues in the Operations Hub, but colleagues from Talent and Performance and the Careers Team. This year will be the first year without mum but the sincere care & understanding that I have received from all has felt like a pair of caring and safe arms around me - thank you all so much, it really makes difference.

I would like to thank Kim Sargent and Miriam Lathom for all their hard work throughout the year. They always provide excellent customer service and ensure that the library is a warm and welcoming place. When we have big events on, they work especially hard to ensure they are a success. Furthermore, they are absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you Kim and Miriam.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone on the Pensioner Benefit Uptake Team. You all approach every day with dedication, enthusiasm, professionalism and care which is reflected in the amazing results the project is achieving (over £3.6M raised so far!). You make a real tangible difference in the quality of life for Lancashire pensioners and it's a wonderful team to work with. Thank you for all your hard work. You are my unsung heroes!

Thank you to all my colleagues within the Fylde & Wyre Short Term Support Service, which is a new team earlier this year which was born from the ICAT team, and previous to that Hospital Discharge Team. All of my colleagues are so kind, supportive, hard working, and strive to make a difference daily by going above and beyond, in what is an extremely busy and pressured environment, and I just wanted to give them all a massive shout out, as our team isn't recognised enough.. xxx
