Staff year book 2023

2024 Yearbook

In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire. Our 2024 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.

Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.

The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

I wish to acknowledge the amazing work undertaken by our Nature Recovery and Ecology team, who have been producing the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Lancashire amongst other projects including the re-survey of our Biological Heritage Sites. It's been great to be involved and see the passion from everyone involved! Looking forward to the Strategy publication next year.

I'd like to say a huge 'Thank you' to My amazing Team at Evergreen Lodge for an amazing 2024 - their commitment to residential overnight breaks for severely disabled children is above and beyond. They have raised funds for additional equipment, held open days, planned great days out and stood by the children we care for through the highs, and the lows, demonstrating great professionalism, care and love.

Just a note to acknowledge the amazing multi-agency and cross-team work that is going on to support some of the most vulnerable children in the county; keeping them safe and providing invaluable support.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the East DoLs team for being incredibly supportive, welcoming, and always approachable. I was quite apprehensive and worried about changing teams, but you all made the transition seamless and stress-free. I've learned so much and am inspired by the passion you all have for personalising and enhancing the quality of support for some of the most vulnerable people in Lancashire. A special shout-out to our manager, Marie Delaney. Your leadership has been instrumental in keeping us united as a team and helping each of us recognise our strengths and grow our ability to reflect. I have only been with the team for a short time, during which I have witnessed some exemplary management. You push each one of us to be the best we can. THANK YOU!!!!! <3
