| 10/09/2026 | 11/09/2026 | GRAHAM, Nevaeh-Rayne June | Nevaeh-Rayne June GRAHAM died on the 9th May 2023 at her home address. Nevaeh-Rayne was born with a number of health conditions and had spent an extended time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Once home, she required significant medical support from her parents and community nurses. In February 2023 Nevaeh-Rayne suffered with a number of infections and on the 21st of February she was observed to vomit, choke and aspirate. She was taken by ambulance to hospital where aspiration pneumonia was confirmed. On the 22nd of February 2023, Nevaeh-Rayne developed sepsis and deteriorated to the point that she required intubation. She was transferred from the Royal Preston Hospital to the Alder Hey Hospital and then to the Manchester Children's Hospital. In March of 2023, attempts were made extubate her. During the attempt, Nevaeh-Rayne's lung collapsed and she suffered cardiac arrest which resulted in hypoxic ischaemic brain injury. Nevaeh-Rayne developed aspiration pneumonia which was the direct cause of her death. |
