KS2 - KS3 Summer Schools
Some years ago, summer schools were introduced for pupils leaving primary school at level 3. Additional support provided during the summer holiday prior to entering secondary school helps to ensure a more confident start to the Year 7 mathematics programme. The summer school resources could also be used as part of a Year 7 intervention programme.
The resources would be more suitable for students working below the expected standard at the end of year 6 or those students with specific gaps in knowledge and understanding.
