SEND Specialist Teaching Service

Specialist teachers who offer advice and support, training and SENCO support, to schools, colleges and other settings from early years to post 16 for the full range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Early years

Support for professionals working with children aged 0 to 4 with special educational needs and disabilities including Portage and Requests for Involvement.

Specialist Inclusion Support Team

Support from specialist teachers for primary, secondary and post-16 educational settings.

Teachers of D/deaf children and young people

Specialist teacher support for D/deaf babies, children and young people with any level of hearing loss.

Teachers of vision and multi-sensory impaired children and young people

Specialist teacher support for vision or multi-sensory impaired babies, children and young people in their homes, nurseries, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools and colleges.
