We need occupational therapists. You will help people in Lancashire live in their own homes.

Your work will include:

  • helping people move safely (moving and handling)

  • supporting people to do things themselves (enablement techniques)

  • using special equipment (tools and devices for daily living)

  • making big changes to homes (major adaptations)

  • using technology to help people (assistive technology)

  • learning and sharing knowledge (training and development)

When you join adult services, you will start with our Adult Social Care Academy. This is a training programme for your first year. It helps you learn what you need to know.

You will get support from a registered occupational therapist.

You will get training in:

  • strength based practice (focusing on what people can do)

  • moving and handling

  • giving the right level of care (proportionate care)

  • using special equipment

Salary

  • Up to £39,513 for occupational therapists

  • Up to £44,711 for senior occupational therapists

Flexible working

We offer flexible working. You can work in the community, in offices, or from home (where possible).
