Using your break time hours

Booking activities and groups

After you get confirmation of your child or young person's Break Time hours, you can contact providers to book them onto activities and groups.

You will need to give the providers:

  • your child or young person's membership number (unique identifier number)

  • information about your child or young person's needs

  • contact details of parents and carers

Some providers may want to meet your child or young person before they join a group or activity to get to know them first.

The provider will agree with you when your child or young person can attend groups and activities.

You can use Break Time hours:

  • at any time in the year between 1 April and 31 March

  • with one provider or split them between two or more providers

  • over holiday periods or during term time or a combination of both

This is subject to eligibility and availability of groups and activities.
