| 08/10/2026 | 08/10/2026 | LEE, Paul | Paul LEE died on 28 June 2026 at Royal Infirmary, Lancaster in Lancashire. Mr LEE suffered a fall in 2026 which resulted in a serious neck injury causing quadriplegia. During his rehabilitation he developed a sacral pressure ulcer which was treated in hospital and at the nursing home following his discharge. Despite treatment, the pressure ulcers became infected, and Mr LEE was readmitted to hospital but did not recover |

| 09/10/2026 | 19/10/2026 | DAVIES, Trevor John | Trevor John DAVIES died on the 1st March 2026 at the St Catherine's Hospice, Lostock Lane, Preston. Mr DAVIES had a diagnosis of dementia and in early 2026 had been admitted to hospital due to difficulties with his swallow and oral secretions. In an initial hospital admission, he appeared to make steady progress and he was discharged to a care home where his secretions increased and he became unwell. Mr DAVIES returned to hospital within days of his initial discharge and despite treatment for aspiration pneumonia, he continued to deteriorate. His care was reorientated to palliative care and he transferred to the St Catherine's Hospice where he died as a consequence of aspiration pneumonia. |
