Highway searches (HIPS and CON29)

Highways search

A highways search (HIPS) provides an adoption plan illustrating the extent of adopted highway around a specified area of interest. It can also provide (for an additional fee) information from the CON29 form e.g.

• Public rights of way
• Proposed road improvements or Widening Schemes
• Road and traffic schemes

The search also provides a cover letter to officialise the provided adoption plan for use.
