Elections campaign resources
The county council elections will be held on Thursday, 1 May, with all 84 county council seats being contested.
We want to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote and wants to participate in the election is able to access clear information to enable them to do so.

Our Elections website contains all the information about the county council's election and results. You'll find information on registering to vote and support available at our libraries to help people to register to vote and apply for a Voter Authority Certificate. There's also information on voter ID and voting.
How you can help
There are several ways you can help support the campaign:
- Share our #LancsCCElections social media posts to your own social media channels. We will be posting across our accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram.
- Signpost anyone with questions to our Elections website.
- Signpost anyone who needs support registering to vote or applying for a Voter Authority Certificate to our library service.
- Create your own social media posts, using the resources below. Please use #LancsCCElections on any elections related social media posts
- Display one of the Electoral Commission posters on Voter Registration, Voter ID, Voter Information on a noticeboard.

The #LancsCCElections results will be announced on Friday 2 May.

Support for blind and partially sighted voters
Polling stations will have equipment and support available to help everyone vote independently and in secret. This may include large print ballot papers or a tactile voting device.
