Telescopic Handler (Loadall) bucket only - PT023
Overview
This course is for anyone who is required to operate the telescopic handler up to a height of 9m without outrigging using just the bucket attachments
Aim
Provide information, instruction and guidance on the safe use of the equipment
Objectives
Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator
Have a working knowledge of the manufacturers handbook and lifting charts
Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine
Carryout all pre-operational checks (including quick hitch lock valve)
Identify defects and use appropriate reporting procedures

Develop competency in the safe use of machinery
Compliance with H&S legislation (LOLER)
Promote good practice in the workplace
