Telescopic Handler EWA (Loadall) forks & bucket - PT44A
Overview
This course is for anyone who is required to operate the telescopic handler up to a height of 9m without outrigging using the forks & bucket attachments
Aim
Confirm the operator maintains the knowledge and competent operation of the machinery by undergoing theory and practical testing
Objectives
Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator
Have a working knowledge of the manufacturers handbook and lifting charts
Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine
Carryout all pre-operational checks (including quick hitch lock valve)
Identify defects and use appropriate reporting procedures

Compliance with H&S legislation (LOLER)
Promote good practice in the workplace
