This Medium Risk Confined Spaces Refresher course is for those who have completed a medium risk confined spaces course in the past (HS007)
Aims
This course aims to provide delegates with up-to-date knowledge and skills for working safely in a confined space.
Objectives
Prepare to enter and work safely in medium risk confined spaces
Enter and exit confined spaces safely
Prepare and use escape breathing apparatus in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
Use equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions
Follow LHS risk assessments/ procedures and work safely
Deal with emergencies
Work with others
Use general knowledge for working in medium risk confined spaces and their environments
Learning outcomes
Develop competency in safe working practices
Compliance with LHS procedures and H&S legislation
Promote good practice in the workplace
Entry requirements
Must have completed HS007 Medium risk confined spaces (2 day course)
