This course is designed for employees who, during their daily duties are required as a Highways service business need, to have a DCPC qualification.
Course aim
The aims of this course are:
To provide employees working within Lancashire Highways Services with the required knowledge and practical skills essential for gaining a Driver CPC Qualification

The learners will have an understanding of the following:
An introduction to transport workplace safety
Definition of hazard and risk basics of risk assessment
Dynamic risk assessments site safety
Dealing with difficult road users
Distracted driving
Smart motorways
Driver wellbeing
Learning methods
A range of teaching and learning methods including presentation and demonstration(where required)
