Aim(s)
To increase foster carers’ understanding of children and young people’s emotional and mental health needs by providing an overview of CAMHS services, referral pathways, available support roles, early intervention provision, and access to relevant information and resources to help them effectively support the children in their care.
Objectives
To provide an overview of the CAMHS Service structure and referral pathways
To provide an understanding of the different roles & support within the CAMHS service
To explain the Primary Mental Health Worker role (Early Intervention support)
To provide signposting to useful information and resources for carers
