Childcare for 2-4 year olds: The advantages, how to access it and the funding available - FC0124

This course is for parents or carers of children looked-after (CLA)/ Kinship Carers and previously looked-after children (PLA) and children under a child-in-need or child protection plan 

These sessions will be hosted as a virtual classroom session. Learners enrolling for these sessions will need their own laptop/PC or smart device to log on to the session.

Aims

To enable Parents and Carers to develop a better understanding of funding process around Early Years, what support is available and how to access that support.

Objectives

Participants will be able to

  • Have an understanding of education legislation and practice in England.

  • Have an increased awareness of educational outcomes for adopted children and young people.

  • Explore the barriers to learning for children and young people impacted by trauma.

  • Have an increased awareness of where/how children and young people learn and how they can be supported in the every day.
