Supporting settings to manage COVID-19 cases

Seeking advice from Public Health England

Any non-urgent setting health related queries or calls not related to a confirmed / suspected case and/or a contact should be emailed to ICC.Northwest@PHE.gov.uk detailing the subject / setting. A response will be arranged via the schools/settings taskforce as soon as possible.

Examples of such queries / enquiries include:

• issues related to social distancing;
• face covering;
• infection prevention and control issues such as hand hygiene or cleaning;
• self-isolation advice;
• transportation related issues;
• and general staff / children  access to testing or interpretation of results.

Public Health's School/setting Task Force will meet three times a week to consider and respond to any complex enquiries / calls from each LA. This information will be shared with schools and settings as appropriate via the bulletin.
