2. Pre-registration briefing sessions

The virtual pre-registration briefing session will also take you through the process to register with Ofsted as a childminder. After the session you have options to book onto our workshops and/or access one of our support packages – we've got you covered! 

The workshops will help you become familiar with the childcare legislation and gives you the underpinning knowledge you need even if you have not formally looked after children before.

There is no charge to access the briefing. All you need to do is email your interest to: earlyyearscentre@lancashire.gov.uk and include your full name, address and telephone number requesting access.
