IPC care champions
The aim of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) care champion forum is to facilitate liaison between the Lancashire County Council IPC nurses and care providers working within the community, to expand knowledge and skills whilst developing networking opportunities.
All infection prevention and control care champions are expected to attend IPC forums at least three times per year.
The infection prevention and control care champion will support staff on matters concerned with IPC and become a role model initiating best practice in infection prevention and control issues within their working area.
