The Education Staff Wellbeing Charter 2021
This definition was agreed by the Department for Education’s Expert Advisory Group on Education Staff Wellbeing. Schools and colleges should use this working definition as a basis for discussing what wellbeing means for them, in their organisation.
The Education Staff Well-being Charter
The Education Staff Well-being Charter was published on the 10th May 2021.
“All state funded schools and colleges are invited to familiarise themselves with the charter, and to sign up when it is available in the autumn, as a shared commitment to protect, promote and enhance the wellbeing of their staff.” (2)
Signing up to the charter is voluntary but it shows your public commitment to protect, promote and enhance the wellbeing of your staff.
