Important Notice: Lancashire Agreed Syllabus

To all schools that follow the Lancashire Agreed Syllabus,

We have received a number of enquiries regarding the revised Lancashire Agreed Syllabus. We are pleased to confirm that the revised syllabus has now been approved by Cabinet.

The revised syllabus will be formally introduced to schools at the Training Days in October. While the Primary Conference on 1 October 2026 is now fully booked, an additional Primary Conference has been scheduled for 20 October 2026. There is still time to book your place on either the Primary or Secondary training using the relevant link below.

Following these conferences, schools will be able to begin planning and designing their curriculum in line with the revised syllabus.

A programme of training and support will be available through Network Meetings, enabling teachers and subject leaders to become familiar with the changes and prepare for implementation.

This phased approach will provide schools with sufficient time to plan and fully implement the revised syllabus from September 2027.

Schools should continue to use the current Lancashire Agreed Syllabus and associated materials until the revised syllabus is fully implemented.
