How to make a referral

Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)

If you are a Care Home, to make a referral for a DOLS authorisation please complete our online DOLS referral form. If you experience any technical difficulties please contact DOLS Duty on 01772 535444.

If you are a hospital or hospice, to make a referral for a DOLS authorisation please email: ACSCustomer.Services@lancashire.gov.uk

Hospitals making a referral need to use the LCC secure messaging facility (and for those who do not already have access this) you are also advised to contact DOLS duty on 01772 535444.
