We have a range of information evenings and community events around Lancashire so you can find out more about fostering for Lancashire at a time and event that suits you. Our teams and foster carers look forward to meeting you, to answer any questions you may have about fostering and advise you on the process. If there isn't an event planned near you at the moment, please keep checking this page which will be updated when new events are confirmed.

Hear from our foster carer guest speakers at our information events. They'll be able to answer your queries from their first-hand experience. We will also tell you about what is involved in applying to foster and the fantastic support and training we provide every step of the way, including our foster care academy.

Community events
If you can't make our evening information events we host a range of informal in-person events around the county during the day. Our 'Talk to the team' events are led by our friendly fostering team and our 'Chat with our carers' events are led by our amazing foster carers. No need to book, just turn up and meet our area teams.
