Annual principal social worker report
Our Principal Social Worker Annual Report shares some of the work that has taken place across Adult Social Care in Lancashire over the last year. It highlights what we have achieved, the challenges we have faced and what we will focus on next.
The report shows how we are helping people get the right support at the right time, improving safeguarding and supporting people to live safely and independently in their communities. It also highlights work to strengthen social work practice, improve learning and development and make it easier for people to access information and support.
You can read about improvements to our Adult Social Care Front Door, the growth of Shared Lives, support for young people moving into adulthood, neighbourhood-based services and the investment we are making in our workforce.
The report also looks ahead to our priorities for the coming year, including working more closely with people who draw on care and support, building on our improvement work and helping more people to live better lives in Lancashire.
