We cannot enforce these laws but, in partnership with the Citizens Advice (external link) free advice is provided and Trading Standards provides assistance to vulnerable consumers in the pursuit of justifiable claims.

Safety warnings and product recalls

Traders make product recalls about products that have problems which could affect the safety of the consumer. You can find a list of safety warnings and product recall notices (external link) in the Trading Standards Institute website.
