Who is this course for?

For parents or carers of children looked-after (CLA)/ Kinship Carers and previously looked-after children (PLA) and children under a child-in-need or child protection plan

Aim(s)

To help parents/carers understand the advantages of their child accessing childcare provision and how they can access funded places.

Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Learn the benefits of a child attending childcare provision

  • Know how much funded childcare they are entitled to.

  • Learn how to access childcare provision for their child.

  • Learn about the role of the Virtual School
