Several major strategic development projects are already planned or underway across Lancashire to enable our future growth plans, bring thousands of new jobs, and increase investment and skills.

We are committed to delivering economic growth and prosperity as one of our four headline priorities.

The aim is to leverage further investment, supporting job creation and regeneration, as well as connecting people and business to opportunities.

We want to realise the growth potential in our existing and emerging key sectors, and attract increased investment.

Our vision is that Lancashire will have the required infrastructure and employment sites to support a low-carbon, modern and forward-looking economy that works for all.

We already have a multi-billion pound pipeline of projects which includes the creation of high-quality, strategic development sites for people to do business and developing our infrastructure to meet future needs.

We're proactively working with a wide range of public and private sector partners to deliver regionally, nationally and internationally significant schemes and develop new opportunities through major strategic sites and key infrastructure.

Several projects are at the forefront of innovation and technology, and most importantly many are being delivered now.

Recognising the importance of the transition to net zero, we're working with our partners to explore and deliver innovation opportunities, and shape the future wellbeing and social value for Lancashire's population.
