About My Services Portal

This help page answers some commonly asked questions about the my services portal.

Registering for an account

To register for an account, you will need to provide your:

  • name

  • email address

  • home address

Password and security

You will need to create a password that contains at least 1 uppercase, 1 number and 1 special character.

You will be asked to select a security question and provide an answer.

Validating your email address

You should receive an email containing a link to validate your email address and activate your account.

The link is valid for 24 hours.

Once validated, the account will be activated.

Email validation issues

If you're having difficulty validating your email address, try these checks:

Not received validation email

Check junk folders.

Check the email address provided is correct.

Check your web browser

Make sure that you use the same web browser you used to register when you open up your email validation link.

Register again

If the account is not activated within 24 hours, you will need to re-register.

Resetting your password

If you need to reset your password, there is a link on the portal login page.

Enter your email address in the username box and you'll get an email with a link to reset your password.

You will need to answer your security question before you can create a new password.

If you are having difficulty resetting your password try this:

Check your browser

Make sure you open the link in the same web browser you used to register.

Account inactivity

Accounts that have been inactive for 90 days are automatically locked which may cause issues when trying to log in.

If you haven't logged into your My Services account in 90 days, you will need to reset your password to be able to log into your account again.

Updating your details

The details you can change are your:

  • email address

  • name

  • home address

  • phone number

You need to log in to change these details, then go to 'My Details'.

Event booking

Browse events

You can find and book events on My Service Portal.

How to book onto an event

Follow the event link from the list of events to see more details and how to book. Some events have multiple dates and times that you can book.

If it's a paid event, you will be asked to make a payment as part of the booking.

Book as a guest or log in

You can book onto the event as a guest or log in and book.

By logging in before you book, you can:

  • see your event bookings in My Service Portal

  • save your details for future event bookings

If this is the first time you are using My Service Portal, you will need to register first if you want to log in.

Email address and tickets

Your event ticket is your booking confirmation email.

We will use the email address you provide when you book an event to email your booking confirmation.

We will also use this address to contact you with any updates about the event.

How to cancel a booking

You can cancel find the link to cancel an event booking in the booking confirmation email or by logging in to the portal.

Refunds

For paid events, refunds will not be issued for cancellations less than 48 hours before the event.

For events over 48 hours you will receive a refund within 5 working days to the original payment method.

Amend a booking

You cannot add or remove attendees from an existing booking.

You can:

  • cancel your original booking and make a new one

  • make a new booking to add more attendees

Check your booking (my requests)

If you registered for an account, you can check your bookings by going to the My Requests page.

This will show you the status and any updates to your requests.

Waiting lists

You can join a waiting list if the event is fully booked. You will receive an email update if places become available. Your email will be removed when the event is over.
