Libraries

Libraries are free for everyone! You can join at a library or online.

You can borrow or download books (including graphic novels and Manga), hire DVDs and music CDs and use PCs for free.

Free Wi-Fi access is available in all libraries.

There are events and activities at all our libraries including reading groups for all ages, creative writing, story times for parents and young children, talks, games, music events and learning opportunities.

Volunteering opportunities are available to support young people's reading sessions, craft sessions and helping people get online.

You can access our library service online where you can browse the library catalogue, renew and request items, ask a question, find information for homework and study, prepare for your driving test as well as downloading comics, magazines and newspapers or download eBooks to read or eAudiobooks to listen to.
