LGBT - issues that matter
If you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans (LGBT) you may feel confused, isolated and misunderstood.
This can bring added pressure if you are uncertain about how friends and family will react to your coming out. These pressures can stop young people from talking to people and accessing support which can have a negative effect on their mental health.
If you are LGBT you may need additional support on a range of issues including your sexuality or gender identity, coming out, transitioning, bullying, relationships and sexual health, hate crime and friendships.
There are different types of organisations that can give you advice on these issues or how to get help if you need it.
