Extra Care housing supports you to keep your independence as you live in your own home.
What is Extra Care housing?
You have your own self-contained apartment (own tenancy) with your own front door.
Care and support is available on site when you need it, helping you to live independently for longer.
All schemes have easy access to local shops, the town centre and community facilities.
What you can expect

A one or two-bedroom apartment with your own kitchen, lounge and bathroom. -
Care and support on site
In-house background care and support from carers who are on site 24 hours a day. -
Support when you need it
Help with unexpected events such as falls or emergencies - day or night. -
