What happens after the assessment?
Once we have completed your financial assessment, we will let you know the outcome.
You will be told:
- How much you must contribute
- How much the council will pay (if any)
- Whether you will receive a personal budget (amount of money the council says is needed to meet your assessed care and support needs)
Three possible outcomes
No financial support
You fund all of your care and support.
Partial support
The council pays some of the cost and you pay the rest.
Full support
The council may cover the full cost of your personal budget.
