Competition finalists and prizes

If your school is shortlisted and invited to attend the final, all your school's team members will receive an individual trophy.

The final for primary schools and the final for secondary schools will be held separately, both during Parliament Week 2024:

• Wednesday 20 November 2024 – Primary Schools
• Thursday 21 November 2024 – Secondary Schools

The finalist winners will receive The Great Lancashire Debate Shield, professional photographs of their team, and an opportunity to visit County Hall for an educational visit to meet and share ideas with Lancashire County Council's Cabinet.

There will also be a prize available for the best individual speaker from each day, who will receive the Best Individual Speaker Award, professional photographs, and a book token.
