About the role of the Primary+ Team
We are a team of skilled and committed specialist teachers who have wide experience across all areas of special educational needs and disability (SEND). With backgrounds ranging from SENDCOs, head teachers and deputy head teachers, key stage leaders, class teachers, and behaviour inclusion specialist teachers in mainstream and specialist settings, we offer a wealth of shared knowledge and experience.
Our teachers have an additional qualification at post graduate level (certificate, diploma or masters) in at least one specialist area of SEND. Passionate advocates for children and young people with SEND, we use a person-centred approach to meet the individual needs of children and young people.
We provide teaching and learning support for children and young people with:
- cognition and learning need
- interaction and communication need
- social, emotional and mental health need
- sensory and physical need
We work in partnership with your staff to enable all pupils to achieve positive outcomes.
How we can support your setting
