The Association of Teachers of Mathematics supports the teaching and learning of mathematics by encouraging the joy of maths, developing the understanding of how people learn maths, sharing and evaluating teaching and learning strategies and promoting new ideas and possibilities.
The aim of this association is to sustain and promote a vital research culture in education.
The Mathematical Association exists to support and enhance Mathematics and the teaching and learning of Mathematics and its applications, and to provide opportunities for collaboration and communication between teachers and students of mathematics.
The National Association for Numeracy and Mathematics in Colleges (NANAMIC) is an association of further education, tertiary and sixth form colleges which aims to assist colleges nationally to developing quality in all aspects of their work in mathematics and numeracy.
The National Foundation for Educational Research aims to make a difference to the lives of children, young people, and learners of all ages by improving the practice and understanding of those who work with and for them
The Royal Statistical Society promotes public understanding of statistics and provides professional support to users of statistics and statisticians. Teachers can join the society on a special membership deal.
