Overestimating the size of a pothole does not mean that it will automatically be fixed. However, it could mean that our resources are taken up assessing potholes which do not meet the required level for work.
Pothole on the road/carriageway
A pothole of under 40mm on a road/carriageway will only be actioned if it is considered to be a significant risk to the public.
