Reapply for a Blue Badge

If you already have a Blue Badge and your circumstances haven't changed since last time, you will need to re-apply online.

It may take up to 28 days for us to process your application. We will contact you if there is a problem with your application or if you are unsuccessful.

Important information before you start:

If you are automatically eligible for a Blue Badge due to the benefits you receive, you will need to complete your renewal in the same way as you applied the first time.

You will need:

  • Blue Badge Number, which can be found on your badge and is 6 characters long
  • Proof of address, only if you have changed address
  • Proof of relevant benefits dated within the last 12 months if applying under one of these categories
  • A debit card to make a payment

You will not need to provide proof of address and identity if your name and address is the same as your previous badge. We will check these for you.

If you confirm the photo on your current badge is a true likeness, you will not need to provide a new one. We can use your current photo for your new badge.

A £10 payment will still be required for a new badge.
