Funding opportunities
Below is a non-exhaustive list of organisations that can provide funding directly for resettlers within the UK:
Red Cross
The Red Cross can support with small amounts of cash for individuals in need. You can find your local service here:
Refugee Education UK
Refugee Education UK provides details of education funding options for young refugees and asylum seekers.
Refugee Integration Loan
You can apply for a refugee integration loan to pay for things like: a rent deposit or rent; household items; education and training for work.
Refugee Study
Refugee Study provides information about grants, scholarships, bursaries and free courses, with links to relevant funding organisations.
The Ruth Hayman Trust
The Ruth Hayman Trust awards small grants to support the education and training of adults who have come to settle in the UK, and whose first language is not English and cannot afford the full fees for their studies.
Student Finance for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (UCAS)
If you're a refugee or asylum seeker applying to higher education, there may be support available from UCAS to help you with finance and your studies.
