Community sponsorship
Community sponsorship is a way that community groups can be involved in supporting the resettlement of vulnerable people fleeing conflict. Under this initiative, a group of people work together to sponsor a refugee family to come to the UK and support them for the first 12 months after arrival.
Across Lancashire, there are currently eight community sponsorship groups.
If you are interested in sponsoring a refugee family and would like to find out more, you can do son on the Reset Communities and Refugees website.
Community groups can apply for community sponsorship on GOV.UK
