Asylum Dispersal

Asylum Dispersal and Contingency Accommodation in Lancashire is managed by Serco and Migrant Help on behalf of the Home Office; Serco hold the Asylum, Accommodation and Support Services contract (AASC) and Migrant Help lead on the Advice, Issue Reporting and Eligibility (AIRE) contract.

Whilst Lancashire County Council does not play a direct role in asylum dispersal, we work closely with our district council colleagues to ensure the provision and coordination of services for new arrivals such as education, health and integration support.

If you are a person seeking asylum and need support, Migrant Help provide independent advice and guidance to assist asylum seekers in the UK move through and understand the asylum process.
