MS Publisher - Getting Started - IT0019

Who is this course for?

This course is external for school employees or external organisations only (non LCC) applicants only.  Who wants to be able to use the Microsoft Publisher application to create effective event flyers. No previous experience or use of Microsoft Publisher is required. This is a half-day course.

Aims

This course provides the skills and knowledge to use Microsoft Publisher to produce posters, flyers, and certificates.

Objectives

• Review and utilise wizards (Flyers, Brochures, Posters, Certificates).
• Design and create publications.
• Work with Ribbons: Home, Insert and Page Design.
• Work with Objects, Arrange, Illustrations, Font, Text.
• Amend existing Templates.
• Use Drawing Tools, Format Shape, Text Box, WordArt and Picture Tools.

Course cost 

£75 per person.

Participants should be comfortable using a computer, to be able to navigate around the screen, work with folders and files, use the taskbar and manage the mouse. 

This course is currently being delivered virtually, you will need to be familiar with using Microsoft Teams Meetings, and work with the Windows Taskbar, to be able to switch applications and to access files and folders in File Explorer.
