Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who would like to create a Presentation in MS PowerPoint; no previous experience is necessary. This is a Level 1 course.
Aims
This course provides the skills and knowledge to be able to create, format and run a Presentation (slide deck).
Objectives
- Open and create a new presentation and view the screen layout, plan and prepare a presentation and review the different slide layouts
- Build slides; inserting Titles, text boxes and bulleted lists
- Insert shapes, add text, work with arrange & grouping, add images, move, resize and delete shapes
- Customise text using different styles of emphases, bullet & numbered lists, change indents and spacing
- Copy, delete, duplicate, and move slides in a slide deck
- Add a header and footer to slides
- Work with speaker notes
- Be aware of the differences between Autosave and Save As
- Print a presentation as handouts and run a presentation in slide show

This course is available either as a Virtual or Face to Face course – which is better for you?
Virtual Training – is ideal if you are comfortable working with computers, able to navigate between a variety of files, working with multiple windows. The course can be fast paced and have a little bit less support. For this type of training, it is a must, that you have use of 2 monitors and use of a mouse (not the trackpad on a laptop).
Face-to-Face – this is perfect if you'd rather take your time and ask more questions of the Trainer.
