Who is this course for?
This course is for intermediate-level users of MS PowerPoint, who wish to learn more about the advanced tools and features of the application. This is a Level 2 course.
Aims
This course provides the skills and knowledge to enhance presentations by customising text, inserting tables and charts and using more advanced tools and features.
Objectives
- Work with shapes – group arrange and align shapes, use the eye dropper tool for matching colour
- Insert SmartArt graphics to visually display information (hierarchy and process maps)
- Insert tables, align text in tables, resize, add, and delete rows
- Insert charts, format charts, add chart labels, link a chart to data in excel
- Use Dictate to record notes for slides
- Insert video files

Virtual Training – is ideal if you are comfortable working with computers, able to navigate between a variety of files, working with multiple windows. The course can be fast paced and have a little bit less support. For this type of training, it is a must, that you have use of 2 monitors and use of a mouse (not the trackpad on a laptop).
