Who is this course for?

This course is for intermediate to advanced-level users of MS PowerPoint who want to learn more about using animations in slide decks and automating a presentation. This is a Level 2 course. 

Aims

This course provides the skills and knowledge to use animation and transition effects effectively, learn how to use links within a presentation and how to implement the Zoom feature.

Objectives

  • Animate a presentation, add and re-order animations, and adjust timings.
  • Add transitions to one slide and to all slides, and modify and preview transition effects.
  • Automate presentations – insert links to a web page and links to another slide.
  • Use the Zoom tool to present your slides.
  • Understand additional presentation options including running a presentation using the presenter view toolbar and rehearsing your presentation.
  • Share your presentation with others to collaborate and share ideas.

Virtual Training – is ideal if you are comfortable working with computers, able to navigate between a variety of files, working with multiple windows. The course can be fast paced and have a little bit less support. For this type of training, it is a must, that you have use of 2 monitors and use of a mouse (not the trackpad on a laptop).
