Who is this course for?

This course is for MS Excel Users who already know and regularly work with the traditional functions including the IF function, if you are confident working with functions, this course is for you. This is a Level 3 course. If you have not used MS Excel for more than 4 years, please do a recap with the Level 1 and/or Level 2 and Level 3 courses for Functions & Formulas.

Aims

This course provides the skills and knowledge to work with Time, reviewing various time formats between 24 hours, 12 hour and general numbers, together with standard formulas and to add and subtract time and working across 2 dates.

Objectives

  • Working with If - If(and( 
  • Time Formatting (12 hour, 24 hour & General)

All Microsoft courses are recommended that you use a mouse and not the trackball facility that is available on the laptop.

For Virtual Training it is recommended that you utilise an additional monitor, you will also need to be familiar with using Microsoft Teams Meetings, work with the Windows Taskbar, to be able to switch applications and to access files and folders in File Explorer.

All prospective participants please complete the mandatory pre-requisite Skills Checklist prior to course application. See below link for the checklist. You will not hear from the Trainer unless they deem that you have not met the skills required for this course. Confirmation of a place on the course will be subject to the Trainer's assessment of the data provided on the checklist.
