Telescopic Handler EWA (Loadall) bucket only - PT23A
Overview
This course is for anyone who is required to operate the telescopic handler up to a height of 9m without outrigging using just the bucket attachments
Aim
Confirm the operator maintains the knowledge and competent operation of the machinery by undergoing theory and practical testing
Objectives
- Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator
- Have a working knowledge of the manufacturers handbook and lifting charts
- Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine
- Carryout all pre-operational checks (including quick hitch lock valve)
- Identify defects and use appropriate reporting procedures
