This course is for anyone who is required to work at heights and covers the operation and Health and Safety related to the equipment
Aim
Provide information, instruction and guidance on the safe use of the equipment
Objectives
- Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator
- Have a working knowledge of the manufacturers handbook
- Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine
- Carryout all pre-operational checks
- Check all emergency lowering functionality
- Identify defects and use appropriate reporting procedures
